Die Carpet Die!

Here’s my lame attempt at a poorly drawn Perez Hilton post.

We spent the weekend finishing most of the painting & tearing out the dreaded dirt blue carpet! Among things found under the carpet include:

• 3 different kinds of tile in ONE room
• giant cracks in the foundation in the living room & kitchen
• dirty q-tip

the cracks are due to normal settling of the 30+ year old house, so we’re not worried about them. We are, however re-sealing them before installing the new flooring.

Speaking of new flooring, we’ve got Dupont wood-textured laminate all lined up to be installed later this week! (Flathead just wishes it was being installed by Em-piiiiire – see her previous post.)
